Robert M. Rogers, M.D., is a board certified expert in minimally invasive endoscopic and robotic surgery.  He has performed thousands of minimally invasive surgeries, and has taught hundreds of physicians these techniques, as an anatomy expert.  He has published many international medical articles and has authored numerous chapters on female anatomy and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Dr. Rogers is an expert in safely and skillfully performing robotic gynecologic surgeries including minimally invasive hysterectomies, with or without the removal of ovaries, dissection and lysis of pelvic adhesions, and reparative vaginal surgeries for incontinence, and support of the prolapsed vagina, bladder, or rectum.  The DaVinci surgical robot enables him to magnify the pelvic tissues and gently enter the tissue planes for safer surgical dissections and much less blood loss, resulting in little postoperative pain and discomfort for his patients.  His knowledge of surgical pelvic anatomy and experience skills in tissue handling and surgical dissections have made robotic surgery a more precise surgical tool for Dr. Rogers to perform major gynecologic surgeries while minimizing trauma to the patient’s own tissues.  This allows the patient to safely and comfortably return home the same afternoon the surgery in most cases.  Please visit the rest of the website: www.nwwhc.org.
